THE HOUSE
20 minutes from Bilbao, the Mahasti house is a rural lodging preserved in perfect condition to enjoy with family or friends.
We have a large farm to immerse yourself in nature and with great views of the Castillo de Butrón.
Adapted for people with reduced mobility
The rooms
- It has 6 standard rooms and a suite in the attic of the house.
- Standard rooms
- We have 5 cozy and rustic style rooms with their own bathroom.
- And a sixth room can accommodate two people, which is the only one without a bathroom.
- Two of our rooms have their own terrace overlooking our vineyards, gardens and Butron Castle.
- We also have a room on the first floor of our house with its own bathroom perfectly prepared for people with reduced mobility.
The penthouse suite
- With its own living room and bathroom
- We have a very special suite located in the attic area of our house. It is a very large space with a bedroom with a large window with a view, its own bathroom and a private living room.
Capacity and bathrooms
- How many guests can we accommodate in our guesthouse?
- Our rural house has capacity for 14 people and up to 18 with extra beds (possibility of hiring 4 extra beds).
- How many bathrooms are there in the cottage?
- 7 bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom (6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms) plus an extra bathroom downstairs that serves the living room and kitchen.
The terrace and porch
- The terrace, the porch, the garden and the BBQ.
- The house has two covered porches or terraces that allow you to enjoy meals or dinners outdoors as well as moments of reading or chatting. They are equipped with garden furniture and at the back of the house you will find a barbecue.
- From our porches you can enjoy the views of our wonderful gardens and forests.
The swimming pool
- Currently under construction. During the summer our guests can enjoy a large swimming pool of 4 x 10 meters, as well as a lounge area with sun loungers. Ask about availability.
The living room
- The Mahasti house has a large living room on two levels, in traditional Basque style, with stone walls and a ceiling with wooden beams.
- In the lower part of the living room, you will find a lounge area with sofas, a nice fireplace and a direct exit to one of the porches and the garden of the property.
- You will find stairs that will lead you to the English lounge with a large library and armchairs to enjoy reading.
Wood stove and oven
- We have a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances to enjoy your vacation.
- In addition, the kitchen has a small space for breakfast or lunch.
The dining room
- Our dining room is rustic and cozy at the same time. It is luminous and has two wooden tables to enjoy with the family.
The garden
- Mahasti is surrounded by vineyards, fruit trees typical of the area such as apple trees as well as eucalyptus forests and a small stream.
- The disconnection in Mahasti is assured, in our farm you will find sheep, chickens,…
- In addition, our gardens overlook the wonderful Butron Castle.
